Spiritual Legos
Now, thats what I call dedication to a cause. Check out the Abston Church of God.
Also check out The Brick Testament. Pretty good stuff.
"And fire came out from the presence of Yahweh and swallowed them up" - Lv 10:2
Even if you don't believe in God, you have to admire the effort.
In other news, Bulls lost, again. The question now, of course, is: Will they hit double digit wins this season?

Ah, Thanksgiving. A wonderful season of warmth and goodness, where Americans can thank the Natives for teaching them how to survive so that they could take their land later and drive them natives off.
What do we modern pilgrims have to be thankful for? Let's have a look at the
Top Ten Things to be Thankful for
1. That Chicago will never be distracted by sport playoff games. Bulls? 1 - 9. Bears? 3 - 7. Blackhawks? Hahahahahahahahahha.
2. That I will never find myself in a situation with no homework. Not in this school.
3. That George Bush, defender of freedom, righteousness and morals, is still president of the most powerful country in the world.
4. iPods.
5. That wintry weather has finally befallen Chicago. Snowstorm anyone?
6. That I cleverly decided to buy Climacool shoes to wear over here. Let me tell you, they work.
7. Bubble Tea.
8. That Singapore continues to be under a stellar, just, uncorrupt and fully meritocratic system of government.
9. That despite whatever you might think, the war in Iraq is really being won by the USA.
10. BitTorrent.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Wow, the Bulls won. After changing their starting lineup, FINALLY. So this time they started with Hinrich, Duhon, Deng, Nocioni and Davis, keeping Chandler and Curry on the bench.
Surprisingly, Eddy Curry played decently. Maybe they should keep him on the bench more.
Ben Gordon played great too. Why are they starting Chris Duhon instead of him?!

So the final whistle goes, and the Bulls lose again, this time to the Suns, 82 - 100. The fans have been patient for a long time, and the Bulls, according to their website, are still optimistic about their chances.
I say its ridiculous. It's one thing to say the Bulls are still young and a developing team, blabla etc, but the cold fact is that they have been like this for the past 5 years. They are now 0-9 this season, and, unless huge changes are made, aren't anywhere close to getting their first win anytime soon.
What's wrong with the Bulls, anyway? It can't be a lack of available talent. Consider the following players who have been on the Bulls roster in the last five years: Jalen Rose, Jamal Crawford, Kirk Hinrich, Donyell Marshall, Dikembe Mutombo, Jerome Williams, Elton Brand. Within these names ALONE we could have a decent starting five. Consider:
PG: Rose/Hinrich
SG: Crawford
SF: Williams
PF: Marshall
C: Brand/Mutombo
But who do we have as the Bull's starting five now?
PG: Kirk Hinrich
SG: Eric Piatkowski
SF: Tyson Chandler
PF: Andres Nocioni
C: Eddy Curry
3 letters should come to your mind, as it did mine. W. T. F? Who on earth is Eric Piatkowski? Who is this guy who can command a starting spot on an NBA roster? This year, he has played 7 games and scored a grand total of 52 points. Jamal Crawford, by comparison, has scored 159 in 9 games.
And why do the Bulls management insist on playing Eddy Curry? Each year, they keep saying how he's going to have a great season. Each year, he disappoints. He has scored 65 points this season and pulled down 44 rebounds. Mikki Moore (who?), a backup centre for the LA Clippers, has scored 75 points and pulled down 46 rebounds.
We also have a management that can't make up its mind on who it wants to keep. Last year they traded Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall to Toronto for Antonio Davis and Jerome Williams. This year, Jerome Williams is gone, and Antonio Davis has scored a princely 34 points in 6 games. Meanwhile, Jalen Rose has scored 159 points in Toronto this season.
So change the management, I say. Else we are doomed to be known as the Charita-Bulls for a long, long time.

The Result of a Non Competitive Media Industry
Don't normally care about Singapore Idol, but found it interesting that Olinda Cho got voted out. Not because I like her singing or anything, but more because of what Channel News Asia had to say about it:
"Olinda had the lowest number of votes, but her elimination disappointed hordes of fans who have been supporting her for more than nine weeks." - Full report
Fans disappointed because the person they support loses! I don't think I've ever read an article with less insight.
When asked about the songs performed, the relative strength of the singers that night, or any personal opinion whatsoever on the result, the article offered no comment.
The upshot of this, I suppose, is that with articles like these there's not much chance of getting a defamation suit slapped upon you.

Notes to self:
1. Never put car keys in trunk of car.
2. If you should choose afore mentioned action, never slam trunk down.
3. Should you abysmally decide to do actions 1) and 2), then make sure spare key does not lie within said locked car.
