I had (have, to be more exact) a ton of homework to do today, which includes 60 pages of Rousseau and 2 problem sets. Like a good boy, I went straight home today after school, unpacked my books, and promptly watched 2 hours of TV. Now, with 5 hours left to the day, the urgency and sheer load of my work is just starting to hit me, and so I did what every other person would have done in this situation - I came to fix the pictures problem on this site. So the question is: Do they work now? Cos it seems fine to me. So there.

Happiness
(with apologies to Carl Sandburg)
I asked professors who teach the meaning of life to tell me,
what is happiness.
And I went to famous executives who boss the work of thousands
of men.
They all shook their heads and gave me a smile, as though I
was trying to fool with them.
Then I stepped into the whirling winds outside that bit
ferociously, mercilessly into bare skin
And she smiled, took my hand
and we walked on.
Sorry about the substandard poetry, this was done in a rush.
Happy (belated) Valentine's Day, everyone =).

Pop quiz! Consider the following scenario:
Cramped calves, stiff back and thighs that absolutely refuse to budge an inch when your eyes open in the morning and your brain says move, you lazy ass, move.
Q: What incredibly rigourous activity happened the night before?
a) Intra mural Mud Wrestling Finals
b) Gave birth to elephant
c) Shopping with Shirley
d) Tried to fathom how on earth what happened at the Super Bowl Half-time show could have been a "wardrobe malfunction."
And the answer is, of course, e) Wushu training. Sorry to disappoint all of you who thought that I might actually have a semblance of happening life around here. Gary, Adam and I discovered a really good Wushu school in Chicago, and decided to pay it a visit. Took like 1.5 hrs to get there, but getting there was certainly worth every minute. Daniel Laoshi is really into Wushu, very patient, very knowledgable and very enthusiastic too, and the students over there are all super passionate. Haven't had training with so many people for a long long loooooong time and it felt... really amazing. There's like this 31 year old lady that can do a good xuan feng tui la... feel so ashamed ;) And of course the morning after is always nice, in a "I think my legs are broken" kind of way. So a quick shoutout to Wushu 27th, miss you guys!! Can't wait to get back this summer and train again!
Have a long weekend this week (i.e Monday off) and, as usual, have oodles of oodles of exciting activites planned for the weekend. Notable things happening this weekend include.
1) Work
2) Work
3) Eating (ahhah, fooled you guys)
4) Work.
Life here is so exciting!!!!
Quote of the Day: "Don't think, just do!!!" - Daniel Laoshi, on doing Ce Kong Fans. I wonder if Nike could sue.
